The farm

About our Eco-Farm and Education Center

We live in beautiful western North Carolina, in a small town called Brasstown between the towns of Murphy and Hayesville. It is rolling hills in the Appalachian Mountains. I am from Florida and love all the wonderful feelings that being in this nature brings. I also spend a lot of time traveling the world and meeting all kinds of wonderful people.

The property is built around the old (Ogden) Schoolhouse, a traditional historical building built in 1919 and still standing today. We are constantly working on improving the property by turning the old classrooms into bedrooms and facilities. And we are always looking to welcome volunteers who want to learn and grow and help us in our mission.

If you have expertise in building things, that would be a plus. I also want to provide a unique learning experience unlike any other. If you want, you can learn some other eclectic skills that you can use in your life, that have helped me tremendously in mine. In addition to eco-farming, I love teaching willing learners about: business strategy, public speaking, relationships, tantra, hypnosis, the stock market, construction, and Bitcoin. So, for you, if you want to learn more about the above topics, there should be plenty of opportunities for you to learn them with me.

Our expectations of long-stay visitors: I welcome you to my home as a visitor. I love new people and cultures and idea exchanges. We welcome visitors who are interested in learning about the process of setting up a new farm and want to share this lifestyle and chores, which might take around four to six hours a day. Chores could vary, depending on your interests, but could include normal activities such as planting, harvesting, weeding, preserving the harvest, mowing, pruning, animal care, creating raised garden beds, handyman repairs, and similar. And if you are selected as one of our long-stay visitors, you will be able to sleep inside the old Schoolhouse OR you can choose to camp outside in the lush greenery of the property. Plus, long-stay visitors dine together each evening.

Our goal is really simple: live, learn, and laugh. Join us.

Our Plans: Always Evolving

We are still in the early stages of our development, but if all goes as planned we will end up with an abundant eco-farm that can be a model for others in the world.
